Parker Duofold Centennial Fountain Pen Red – Fu Uninked

This is one of only a handful of these pens made.

The original model was the Fu (Happiness) pen of which 1399 were made in Newhaven UK for the China / Hong Kong Market. I have added a bit of the advertising detail below.

This particular pen was made using left over components in 2009 and sold solely to staff in the factory.

It differs from the Fu in that;

It does NOT have the special Fu decal – it has the normal Duofold Ace of Spades decal

It does NOT have the special Fu nib – it has the normal Duofold Centennial 18K gold and Ruthenium nib

It does NOT have the special Fu packaging or bottled ink – it has the normal Duofold packaging and two Parker blue ink cartridges

I do not believe many were made, so in this respect it is a very rare pen. It has never been inked or used.
