STDUPONT ATELIER HAUTE CREATION YEAR OF THE SNAKE. Ref. C23080
For the upcoming Chinese New Year, ST Dupont is honored to present an exclusive collection dedicated to the astrological sign of the snake, an emblematic and revered figure in Chinese mythology. The snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and renewal, is associated with intelligence, elegance, and mystery. In Chinese culture, the snake is seen as a guardian of secrets and a spiritual guide, symbolizing inner strength and the ability to meet life’s challenges with elegance and finesse.
For this special collection, our artisans have drawn on the snake’s rich symbolism to create six exceptional creations, including two fine jewelry pieces. Each product captures the mystical essence of the snake through finely engraved serpentine motifs adorned with precious stones. Scales, symbols of protection and resilience, are reproduced with unrivaled precision, while emeralds, evoking prosperity and longevity, embellish the pieces. Vibrant green and meticulous detail pay tribute to China’s rich culture and the ancient art of jewelry-making.
Two haute jewelery pieces, jewels of this collection, embody the elegance and power of the snake.
Acorned with precious stones such as diamonds, rubies, and emeralds, they exceptionally capture the light, symbolizing wisdom and vitality. These creations are objets d’art and testaments to the snake’s capacity for transformation and regeneration. Through this collection, ST Dupont invites you to celebrate the Chinese New Year by honoring the profound values of this majestic astrological sign, with objects of timeless elegance and incomparable refinement.

There are 8 pieces in the world; It is possible to choose the numbering of the lighter based on availability
Simon Tissot Dupont created his first-ever luggage sets after acquiring a leather workshop in 1872. From this point onwards, the Maison quickly became de rigueur for kings, princes, and other high-profile personalities, giving rise to a new art of travelling, and henceforth representing the French art-de-vivre worldwide: going as far as being dubbed the “Kings’ trunk-maker”. The high level of quality requirement from the clientele meant the need to maintain the best savoir-faire possible.
1941 marked the appearance of the 1st petrol-fuelled lighter, which was then followed by the 30s-style ‘Ligne 2’ model in the 70s that the Maison could redefine itself.
These were the very first introduction and steps of ST Dupont into the luxury lighter industry, which would grow and continue to this day and age.
