The Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222 in stainless steel is a modern revival of one of the most iconic integrated bracelet sports watches of the 1970s. Reference 4200H/222A-B934 brings back the signature design of the original “222,” launched in 1977 to celebrate the brand’s 222nd anniversary, now updated with refined craftsmanship and a contemporary in-house movement.
Its 37mm tonneau-shaped case and integrated bracelet are executed in brushed stainless steel, preserving the angular, sporty elegance of the original design. The blue dial is clean and minimalist, adorned with luminous baton markers and slender hands, and anchored by the subtle Maltese cross emblem at 5 o’clock—a hallmark of the vintage 222.
Inside, the watch is powered by the caliber 2455/2, offering a 40-hour power reserve and visible through the sapphire caseback. With its faithful proportions, historical significance, and everyday wearability, the new 222 is a collector’s dream and a landmark reissue from Vacheron Constantin’s golden era.
